I have the N900 , tell u the truth I am not very impressed YET, Software is still immature if it wants to compete with iphone OS or Android. But again hardware wise the phone is awesome, the phones graphics hardware is capable of playing decent 3d games, decent I mean PSP like graphics or even better.

GD900, GC900 and KM900 have the same hardware! You are not allowed to view links.

No we can't use it, because  Haret is a Bootloader for Windows Mobile, we haven't WinMo, so we can't use Haret. Join us on if you have any other idea You are not allowed to view links.

Haven't gotten very far, I'm worried that when I do it that PC Suite will never pick up the phone or be able to interact with it properly. That is my main concern at the moment and that is why I haven't tried yet, Until I'm sure that I can undo the damage if it does happen, then I'm not going to try just yet.

guys...nothing could be better than having Android working on GC900. There are hardly any good Apps supported on the LGE proprietary OS running on GC900. Moreover, it is damn slow and does not support multi-tasking. So running Android would open the gates for the vast Android App store and development in the Open Community on GC900.
I had almost made up my mind to exchange my phone for Samsung Galaxy I7500 this weekend, but luckily stumbled upon this thread Smiley
Would give GC900 another couple of weeks now. Smiley

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been really busy. I've actually been testing a HTC legend for the past 2 months and I'm writing this post with it. I'm learning how the Android system works. What I've discovered is we need to create drivers for the system to work with the gc900. Also there is the problem of loading Android onto the system. From what I've discovered, Android has its own desktop built in, so you shouldn't need to worry about creating a UI for it. I'm really interested in this and I know we can do this. Maybe try hitting the Google Android developers forum?
